Scotland is looking for an AmbassaDog. No, really.

Carl Anka

The Scottish tourism board are looking for a new dog ambassador.

We’re not kidding.

The folks at Visit Scotland are looking for Scotland’s top dog to be the face of a new campaign highlighting dog-friendly trips. The competition is open to all dogs in Scotland, with Visit Scotland on the eye out for a friendly and outgoing pooch with a nose for adventure.

All you have to do to enter is email a short application listing your dogs personality and special skills with a bit of Scottish travel history.

The winner stands to become an international dog ambassador for Scotland. For more details on if your dog has #ScotSpirit, head here. The best ambassadog candidates will be “interviewed” in Edinburgh at the end of April.

Oh, and here’s a gentle reminder Scotland’s national animal is a unicorn
