Me sowing: Haha fuck yeah!!! Yes!!
Me reaping: Well this fucking sucks. What the fuck.
The public backlash from the decision by Tory MPs to vote against extending free school meals last week appears to show no sign of abating, after a shop owner in Lancaster made the decision to ban his local MP after discovering that he had voted against the motion.
322 MPs voted against it, and Morecambe and Lunesdale MP David Morris was one of them, leading to an angry reaction from his constituents.
One shop in the area, The Runners Centre in Kings Arcade, has taken the decision to ban Morris, as well as placing a sign on their door explaining in minute detail why he has been banned.
“David Morris MP is barred from entering this store for voting to starve children,” read the sign.
“Along with 322 other Conservative MPs he voted against extending free meals for kids.
“He has been listed as one of the top ten MPs claiming expenses with £77,676.00 spent so far.
“He has also voted to give himself a pay rise of nearly £3400.00. Thatcher starved the miners. Morris starving the minors.”
In 2016, Morris was investigated for claiming £1400 in car mileage expenses for trips in the UK on dates when he was abroad on parliamentary business. Morris disputed the allegations.
