It’s back after 18 years

Shoppers are going wild with excitement after a previously thought to be ‘extinct’ Cadbury’s chocolate bar returns to stores.

The returning chocolate bar has been absent for 18 years, meaning you’ll have to have been around around a while to be familiar with this classic.

The bar was popular in its day, being introduced in 1996, and is described as a combination of crunchy peanuts, gooey caramel and a creamy truffle centre, all coated in smooth milk chocolate.

It is of course the Fuse bar which has made its belated return in miniature form.

A picture of the Cadbury Fuse Mini Treats was posted to the Newfoodsuk Facebook group.

Countless people took to the comment section to gush over the return of the chocolate bar with one commenter telling their friend: “If you see these buy all of them.”

Despite being discontinued the bar does occasionally appear on specialist websites.

One user said: “I thought fuse chocolate was extinct, seems like it still exists.”

Another person wrote: “If these are like the old FUSE bars I NEED these!”

Meanwhile one commenter put: “Used to have these in full-size bars years ago. Delish.”

The bar contains milk chocolate, nuts, raisins, crisp cereal and fudge pieces.

The grab-bag version contains seven mini bars, according to the packaging.

The Fuse Bar Minis can be bought from B&M.
