Footage was shared online over the weekend of the woman attacking the horse.
A teacher who has been accused of punching and kicking a horse has been suspended from her job at a primary school in Leicestershire.
A clip shared on social media by anti-hunting campaign group Hertfordshire Hunt Saboteurs shows Sarah Moulds, 37, being aggressive towards the horse after it ran into the road.
The footage sparked outrage online, and it was later revealed that Moulds was a teacher who worked at Somerby Primary School in Melton Mowbray. She is also a director of Knossington & Somerby Pre-School in Oakham, Leicestershire.

She has now been suspended from her job as a teacher.
In a statement, the Mowbray Education Trust said: “Further to our statement of 8th November, we can confirm that a member of staff has been suspended pending formal investigations into an incident that occurred at the weekend.
“We will not be making any further comments while the investigation is in progress.”
Moulds has also been removed from a volunteering role she carried out for the Pony Club.
A spokesperson for the club said: “We are aware of the video circulating showing unacceptable treatment of a pony and we wholeheartedly condemn this behaviour.
“The welfare of horses and ponies is of the utmost importance to The Pony Club, therefore the lady in question has been removed from her voluntary position as a team organiser for a branch.
“The Pony Club is a youth membership organisation and as such, she is not a member of The Pony Club.”
