Summer is back, baby
So, it’s slipped a bit over the past week or so, hasn’t it, summer.
Over the early May Bank Holiday things were looking glorious – beer gardens, suntan lotion, 99s – then it got a bit cooler. It felt a bit more like spring. We went back to thinking we might need to wear a coat when we left the house. Life was one big ol’ sad face emoji.
Heads up! After a warm day for many today, tomorrow's going to be much cooler. Here's a look at the temperatures through the rest of the week pic.twitter.com/Xvsvx9ZUWa

But I’m here to tell you some good news, because it looks like we’ll be seeing 30C come the next Bank Holiday at the end of the month.
As Exacta Weather forecaster James Madden told the Express: “The remainder of this month will remain predominantly summery and confidence is increasing for another burst of very warm to hot temperatures for the next Bank Holiday weekend.
“It is plausible that maximum temperatures could rise into the high 20Cs or even the low 30Cs for several days in a row within this period.
“This will pave the way for a warm and settled start to summer.
And Bonnie from the Met Office told JOE.co.uk: “It does look likely that for the south and south-east of the country, high pressure and settled conditions may persist until the end of May and the start of June.
“It could also be that the high pressure means it will be warmer than average.”
Smiles all around.
