A date has reportedly been set for the release of Apple’s new, smaller iPhone model.
Following reports that the next version would be released in March, a specific date – and more details of the new device – has been unveiled.
BuzzFeed News claim the iPhone SE will be available from March 21, though 9to5mac has previously mentioned a March 18 release date.
The new device, whose four-inch display is a similar size to that on the older 5S model, will likely be accompanied by the release of a new iPad, named the iPad Pro.
Apple is yet to confirm details of the upcoming launch. However, the reported date would be just one day before the tech company meets with the FBI over the San Bernardino dispute.
Apple is thought to be unwilling to create a workaround to allow the FBI to access the mobile phones of the terrorists found responsible for the San Bernardino shootings last year.
