Three killed by Stade de France explosion, confirms FFF president

Three people were killed by an explosion outside of Stade de France as a number of attacks were carried out on the French capital.

According to reports, police have claimed that there were two suicide bombings as well as another explosion outside the stadium as France’s football team hosted Germany in a friendly game.

Explosions were heard in television footage of the game which continued as events within the city escalated.

France Football Federation president Noel Le Graet has also confirmed that three people were killed and several more injured following the explosions.

Following the game, fans were told to gather on the pitch.
