Norcross’ final tweet has been widely shared after the sad news was confirmed
Mick Norcross, the businessman well known for his appearances on The Only Way Is Essex, has died aged 57.
Norcross, whose son Kirk starred alongside him in the ITV show, was found dead at his home in Bulphan on Thursday afternoon. Essex police have since said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A tweet posted by Norcross hours before his death has been widely shared since the sad news emerged. ‘At the end remind yourself that you did the best you could,’ it read. ‘And that is good enough.’
Several of his Towie co-stars have paid tribute to Norcross, with James Argent quote-tweeting his final tweet, describing him as a ‘true gentleman and a very kind man’.

Norcross had first appeared in the reality show ten years ago. He was owner of Sugar Hut, the nightclub in Brentwood which was regularly attended by the show’s cast.
A tweet from the nightclub’s official account also paid tribute to him: ‘So sad to hear the news today of the passing of Mr Sugarhut @micky_norcross,’ it read.
‘A very talented, friendly and fun guy, who made a huge mark on Brentwood.
‘A true Essex legend who will be sorely missed, our condolences to his family and friends at this sad time.’

A spokesperson for Essex Police said officers “were called to an address in Brentwood Road, Bulphan shortly before 15:15 on Thursday” and “sadly, a man inside was pronounced dead”.
The spokesperson added that the death was “not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner”.
