The former president explained how he would deal with the Russian invasion of Ukraine
Donald Trump has claimed he would be able to stop Putin using the word ‘nuclear’ if he were still president of the US.
The former president was speaking to long-time pal Piers Morgan in a wide-ranging interview for Morgan’s new TalkTV show, Piers Morgan Uncensored.
In the chat, Trump shared what he would say to Putin amid the war in Ukraine and how he would deal with Russia.
Unsurprisingly, the 75-year-old was highly critical of current president Joe Biden, slamming the Democrat for not threatening Russia with a nuclear strike.
“So what would you do right now in Ukraine, if you were the President?” Morgan asked.
“Putin uses the ‘N word’. I call it the ‘N word’. He uses the ‘N word’, the nuclear word all the time. That’s a no-no, you’re not supposed to do that. He uses it on a daily basis,” Trump replied.
“And everybody’s so afraid, so afraid, so afraid. And as they’re afraid he uses it more and more. That’s why he’s doing the kind of things he’s doing right now,” he explained.

Trump described other countries as “stupid” and being “afraid to talk,” meaning that Putin can do what he wants because he “thinks nobody’s gonna ever attack” Russia.
Morgan agreed with Trump, who went on to say that he would go as far as banning Putin from even saying the word ‘nuclear.’
He continued: “I would say, we have far more [nuclear weapons] than you do. Far, far more powerful than you.
“And you can’t use that word ever again. You cannot use the nuclear word ever again. And if you do, we’re gonna have problems.”
Trump has previously described Putin as a ‘genius.’
The interview between Morgan and Trump has already made headlines after a clip was released showing Trump try to take his microphone and walk off the set.
The full interview will air on Monday night (April 25) on TalkTV.
