At least one England fan is said to be in critical condition following fan violence in Marseille this weekend.
At least two others are believed to be seriously injured.
There have been violent scenes in the city since Friday following clashes involving Russian fans, England fans, and French locals in Marseille.
French news outlet L’Equipe is reporting police were called to resuscitate one England fan who suffered “iron rod blows, likely to head” in the aftermath of violence in the city’s streets. It is believed the fan in question entered cardiac arrested before he was taken to hospital sometime on Saturday evening.

Fan violence has marred Euro 2016 so far as French police have resorted to using water cannons in an effort to quell further unrest.

Troubles continues throughout the night as Russian fans broke through a tarpaulin segregation to charge at England supporters in the Stade Velodrome following England’s 1-1 draw with Russia. JOE reporter Conan Doherty says “Punches were thrown, stewards struggled and then fences were being jumped as the crowd ran outside”.

Sky News has been told that 19 people were hurt in the violence although local media put the figure as high as 31.
It is believed 14 people have been arrested in relation to Marseille fan violence to date.
Uefa begun its disciplinary hearings against Russia on Sunday morning and is expected to issue sanctions on Tuesday.
