He is one of three said to have been killed in an ‘execution-style’ shooting
In some truly horrific news, two teenagers have been arrested on triple homicide charges for multiple alleged murders, including a five-year-old shot dead in Detroit, Michigan.
As reported by local news outlet Fox 2 Detroit, preschooler Caleb Harris was found murdered inside a home Sunday February 20, along with the bodies of a man and a woman.
It was later confirmed by Detroit Police that the other victims were his 28-year-old mother, Lashon Marshall and her boyfriend Aaron Benson, 32. The bodies were found by a relative who had not heard from Marshall and visited the home to check on them.

Authorities on the scene say Caleb’s body was found in a different room to his parent and guardian. As police chief James White told ClickOnDetroit, this indicates that the culprits “continued to check the house for additional victims” most likely after having killed the two adults “and, unfortunately, they did find a third victim, a child, in a room deceased.”
The crime scene indicated a home invasion, with the back door kicked in and all three victims said to have been shot in the face “execution-style”. Investigators also believe the bodies had been there for more than a day, meaning that the killing took place prior to Sunday and had simply been lying there, waiting to be found.
While the suspects have not been named, chief White went on to say investigators have “high confidence the individuals are responsible for this heinous act”. The motivation behind the crimes is still unclear.
Speaking to the Fox News arm, Caleb’s grandmother, Shalesa Floyd, said: “I just want justice for what they’ve done. He was only 5 years old and I just want to know why.
