Arise King David!
Two thirds of Gen-Z want Sir David Attenborough to be King of England instead of King Charles.
In a survey commissioned by SEGA to celebrate the launch of the critically acclaimed Metaphor: ReFantazio, almost half of Gen-Z say they would want to be King or Queen and a third thought they could be a better ruler than King Charles.
The survey also revealed the top 10 celebrities Gen-Z felt would be as good a ruler, if not better, than King Charles and 64 per cent said David Attenborough.
Attenborough is a national treasure best known for writing and presenting the nine nature documentary series forming the Life collection.
His passion for protecting the environment is shared by King Charles but it would appear the majority of Gen-Z would prefer the 98-year-old to rule the country.
Two thirds also thought Prince Harry would be a better option than his father while 60 per cent surprisingly highlighted singer Adele as a potentially better ruler than Charles.

Over half of those surveyed also thought ex-footballer David Beckham and actress Dame Judi Dench would be good rulers of the country.
While almost two thirds think the UK should have a monarch, just a quarter of Gen-Z believe the next King or Queen should be decided as it is now by passing the crown to the first-born child.
Nearly 10 per cent believe monarchs should have to win a war to be able to claim the throne.
Meanwhile, the future King of England, Prince George has a different career in mind before he assumes the role of King.
According to the Daily Mail, on a recent trip to Norfolk with his mum, Kate Middleton, the 11-year-old declared that he’d like to become a pizza chef.
The young prince visited Desmond MacCarthy’s Wiveton Hall Café where he was shown the wood-fired pizza oven. He reportedly exclaimed: “That’s what I want to do when I grow up!”
MacCarthy told the paper: “They came here with their friends, because Sandringham isn’t that far away.”
MacCarthy said of George: “He’s a sweet boy.”
