When a manager loses their job people are quick to take the p*ss.
The internet can be a pretty cruel place. It was no different when news broke that David Moyes got the sack from Real Sociedad.
The former Manchester United boss endured a miserable spell at Old Trafford and then things didn’t get much better during his time in Spain, as many kind folk of the internet pointed out here.
But while football fans and pundits picked apart the remains of his failed tenure at the Spanish club, there was one surprising addition to the groundswell of internet trolls.
Virgin Trains. The private rail company was straight in there offering Moyes a fast-track (pun intended) route back into management.
Hey David Moyes, looking for a quick route back into management, why not apply for our DTM role? It's permanent too pic.twitter.com/qe6UgWUpnw

We sincerely hope they’re joking anyway. Virgin’s West Coast was named the least punctual rail company in Britain this year.
Moyes is the last thing commuters need.
