Donald Trump is not a happy man.
Having seen his controversial plans for a travel ban blocked by judges, the recently inaugurated US President used a campaign-style rally speech in Florida on Saturday to talk about migration issues in Europe – linking them to several terrorist attacks on the continent.
“We’ve got to keep our country safe,” he told supporters. “You look at what’s happening in Germany, you look at what’s happening last night in Sweden.
“Sweden, who would believe this? Sweden. They took in large numbers. They’re having problems like they never thought possible. You look at what’s happening in Brussels. You look at what’s happening all over the world. Take a look at Nice. Take a look at Paris.”
Erm… Sweden? What did we miss in Sweden?
It’s still unclear what Trump was actually referring to, but the Independent have since pointed out that Fox News aired an interview with filmmaker Ami Horowitz, whose documentary examines whether high crime rates in areas of the country is a result of its previous open-door migration policy. All the same, his comments were taken by many as a suggestion that the Scandinavian nation had suffered in a similar way to that of cities like Nice, Paris, Berlin and Brussels and certainly appeared to confuse people.
I hope all my friends and followers in Sweden are safe. Those fake terrorist attacks can be so unsettling.

Hey, @realDonaldTrump.
Please tell us more about the terrible terrorist attacks in Sweden, we don't know anything about it.— Tobias Sköldborg 🏆🏆🏆🏆 (@TobiasSkoldborg) February 19, 2017
How do the USA expect their allies to take #trump serioulsly when he blatantly lies about terrorist attacks in Sweden which never happened?

Trump also used the same address to (yet again) criticise various media outlets in America for their inaccurate reporting. Good thing he’s got his facts in check.
