This is really the stuff of nightmares.
Two women were swimming in waist-deep water at a secluded beach in Australia at the weekend when one of them was snatched by a crocodile.
The woman in question has been named as 46-year-old Cindy Waldron. She is feared dead after the incident.

Waldron was swimming with her friend Leeann Mitchell at the World Heritage-listed Daintree National Park in Queensland when her body was dragged underwater by a crocodile.
Mitchell ran to get help, but it was impossible to save her.
Speaking to ABC, Senior Constable Russell Parker confirmed the tragic news:
“Her 47-year-old friend tried to grab her and drag her to safety and she just wasn’t able to do that. It would be very, very distressing for her.”
The search continues for Waldron, who is yet to be found.
Mitchell, 47, was admitted to Mossman Hospital where she was treated for shock and grazes from the crocodile attack.
