A woman has shared a cooking hack to conveniently store all of your saucepan lids whilst you’ve got something on the boil.
We’ve all been there: Cooking up a feast, lots of things on the go, but where to put that damn lid? Do you balance it upside down on the benchtop, or leave it on the pan and risk it boiling over?
Nightmare.
Well, this could be the answer to all of your kitchen struggles, with social media star Maja demonstrating a handy design feature on a regular old saucepan lid.
In the video, she says: “Okay so how often do you cook and you’re like, ‘I don’t know where to put lid!’
“How about you put it here?”
Instead of balancing the lid upside down on the side, Maja rests it almost vertically on the saucepan handle – where it slots securely under the lip.
Genius.

TikToker ‘Taurus King’ then tried out the technique for himself and was stunned to find out that it does indeed work.
