Women all over the world are turning out in protest against Donald Trump

Refusing to be silenced.

After what seemed like the longest Presidential election in history, Donald J. Trump was finally sworn in as President of the United States yesterday.

Given Trump’s penchant for causing controversy, his campaign was beset on all sides by fierce critics of everything he said and did. Over the course of his campaign, he separately managed to denigrate Muslims, Hispanic people, black people, the disabled and several other groups.

Many felt that the camel’s back was broken after it was revealed that Donald Trump had said “You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab ’em by the pussy. You can do anything.”

On January 21, one day after Trump’s Inauguration, women’s marches are taking place all over the world as a round condemnation of Donald Trump.

Social media has been abuzz with pictures and footage of picket signs and protesters who don’t support the new leader of the free world.

The initial march was scheduled to take place through Washington DC, but similar demonstrations have started all over the world.
