What happens when an unstoppable Partridge meets an immovable Partridge?
Richard Madeley might have hit peak Partridge in his latest interview with Gavin Williamson.
Speaking to the Conservative Defence Minister, Madeley wanted to know if Williamson regretted saying that Russia should “go away and shut up.” Madeley called the language “casual” and “Trumpesque.”
Circumventing the questioning as only a cabinet minister can, Williamson avoided one too many an answer and that was that.
Madeley cut him off: “You’re not going to answer you? Okay, alright, interview terminated… it would be helpful if you answered a straight question with a straight answer.”
