So how many children does Boris Johnson actually have now?

The clan of Johnson is constantly expanding

With the announcement that Carrie Johnson has given birth, it’s only natural to wonder how many kids the prime minister has fathered throughout his life.

For years, the exact number of Johnson’s kids was unknown, with some speculating the number exceeded ten and others suggesting it was close to five. However during a trip to America in September, Johnson gave the most straightforward answer yet.

Talking to NBCs Savannah Guthrie, the PM replied with a simple “yes” when the host asked if he had six children.

With the addition of the couple’s newest munchkin – the total is increased to seven. If Johnson treats baby-making like turning up the volume on the TV, then we all know he has to make it eight to keep it even.

The PM previously had four children with his first wife, Marina Wheeler before they separated in 2018.

Johnson is no slouch when it comes to fathering children outside of marriage either, as demonstrated by the child he had with arts consultant Helen MacIntyre.

Other affairs include a former employee of the Spectator while Johnson was editor, Petronella Wyatt, and US businesswoman Jennifer Arcuri.

So, where are the kids now?

Johnson’s eldest child, 26-year-old Lara Lettice, famously dubbed her father a “selfish b*****d”, a sentiment a lot of people in the UK would undoubtedly echo.

While Lettice works as a writer and broadcaster, Johnson’s second eldest, Milo Arthur, speaks Russian, Arabic and French.

22-year-old Cassie Peaches is Johnson’s third child and then comes 20-year-old Theodore Apollo, who is currently studying at Cambridge.

Johnson’s affair with Helen MacIntyre spawned the politician’s fifth kid Stephanie despite previously denying he was her father.
