Why are we so eager for Corbyn to nuke someone?
Last night Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn appeared on a special edition of Question Time, facing a grilling from members of the public. Considering that May refused to appear on Wednesday’s televised leaders debate, it was an important chance for the electorate to see the current PM under the spotlight.
As you’d expect, she faced a lot of stiff questions, on topics like her switch from Remain voter to bullish Brexiteer, and her decision to take part in the debates.

One particular member of the studio audience has been hailed as hero – and not for her question, but for her off-hand comment prior to ask it. Jeremy Corbyn’s willing to use nuclear weapons, and renewal of Trident was being discussed, when she made this excellent point:

Even Jeremy Vine gave her props for it.

She at least stood out against many of the other question-askers:

(In the interest of clarity, that’s not an accurate of those guys’ questions FYI).
