I’m suffering some major football fatigue.
After a Premier League season that seemed to never end, we were straight into Euro 2020, which I think we can all agree was an incredible tournament. But it’s exhausting isn’t it? After Sunday night my emotions were drained. Four weeks of stress, joy, torment, nerves. And football everywhere.
So we need a break, to ready ourselves for the new season in August. This is therefore a quiz with zero football content.
The Olympics starts next week, which is always good fun, so famous opening ceremonies is the theme of one round. There’s also a few food questions to fill your quizzing appetite, and don’t worry, general knowledge and sport still feature.
And there’s an Italy round.
Yes, that’s right. In a bid for some closure over Sunday, there’s five questions about the brilliant nation of the Italians. It’s time to draw a line under Euro 2020, and bring on Tokyo 2020.
Let’s not get onto the fact that they’re both taking place in 2021….
