Brought to you by BBC Three
Pinch, punch, first quiz of the month.
Well done for completing January everyone, it’s always cause for celebration. But this year, there was extra reason to celebrate February 1 – BBC Three is now on TV.
On Tuesday, BBC Three launched as a new broadcast channel and in celebration, this week’s quiz is in partnership with the channel that has given us Chabuddy G, Kerry Mucklowe, and Connell’s chain.
Broadcasting from 7pm every night, the channel has a predictably brilliant line up of comedy, sport, entertainment and documentaries for your enjoyment. There is bound to be something on there that takes your fancy.
The first RuPaul’s Drag Race UK vs The World aired on Tuesday, the second series of the quite frankly brilliant ‘Starstruck’ starts on February 7, and this weekend there’s a treat for you sport fans, with BBC Three showing the Africa Cup of Nations final between Senegal and Egypt.
Will Sadio Mane’s Senegalese side win their first ever Africa Cup of Nations, or will ‘The Pharoahs’ win a record 8th title? You’ll be able to tune in from 7pm or you can watch the pre-match build-up on iPlayer from 6.30pm.
So this week we’ve got a BBC Three-themed round to celebrate the channel’s launch, along with all the usual quizzing fun.
Go forth and quiz.
