The video has divided Reddit
A viral TikTok of diners at a restaurant heckling Amazon founder and billionaire Jeff Bezos has divided the internet.
The clip was allegedly taken down from the platform twice for ‘violating its policy on bullying’, but was picked up and posted on other platforms swiftly. This is the internet after all.
In the clip, Bezos can be seen walking on the pavement before a couple sitting at a restaurant address him.
The man filming says: “Hey Jeff, do you feel bad when your Amazon workers die in the warehouse sometimes.”
Bezos glances over quickly before carrying on towards his car.
The woman then calls out as Bezos gets into his car: “Hey Jeff, nice lazy eye. I wish money could fix that!”

Those comments makes up the entirety of the clip, but the internet has fiercely debated whether the comments about Bezos’ eye were an appropriate way to criticise the billionaire.
One person on Reddit wrote: “Eh, that woman’s comment is sh***y. F*ck her for saying that instead of saying something meaningful about his greed.”
Another said: “Wow, making fun of a disibility is the hallmark of a horrible person.”
However, others have said the criticism is justified.
One wrote: “It is in bad taste to make fun of appearance, but the man lets THOUSANDS of workers suffer through company policies, so by all means, make fun of his lazy eye, baldness, height, anything really. It’s not an a-hole move if it’s a greedy billionaire.”
Recently, Bezos announced his retirement at the age of 57 with a considerable $197 billion in his back pocket, which is nearly 800,000 times richer than the average American.
