It’s safe to say the supporters of PAOK Salonika were pretty chuffed to see their club sign Dimitar Berbatov.
The former Spurs, Manchester United and Fulham man completed his move to Greece on deadline day and was greeted by over 10,000 supporters at his official unveiling.
Agreeing a two-year deal after a spell at Monaco, the Bulgarian becomes the club’s highest profile signing.
“Thank you so much for the reception, it’s unbelievable. I didn’t expect something like this, I’m just a simple person who plays football,” said a humbled Berbatov.
