Lazio to rival Prem clubs for HernandezĀ

Despite interest from the likes of Liverpool, Spurs and West Ham, theĀ Daily StarĀ claim thatĀ Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez could be off to Lazio.

Currently on loan at Real Madrid, the Mexican has failed to get a regular starting berth at the European champions and doesn’t appear to be in Louis van Gaal’s long term plans.

There’s also talk of him being offered to Southampton in part-exchange for Nathaniel Clyne. Speaking of which…

Clyne leaves the door openĀ

Southampton right-back Nathaniel Clyne has pavedĀ the way for a move to a Premier League heavyweightĀ by admitting he’sĀ “flattered” by the interest shown in him, report the Daily Telegraph.

Both Chelsea and Manchester United could do with another right-back and, going off this year’s performances, Clyne would fit comfortably into either team.
