If you’ve been paying attention to goings-on at Tottenham Hotspur this season then you’ll know all about the unstoppable bromance between Dele Alli and Eric Dier.
They’ve both played a huge part in Spurs’ impressive campaign, but much of the focus has been on the off-the-pitch antics.
While Dier was busy sharing his teammate’s old Myspace photos and uncovering his teenage cover version of Sandi Thom’s ‘I Wish I Was A Punk Rocker’ (no, seriously), Alli was trying to set Dier up for a fight with Anthony Joshua.
We can exclusively reveal that Alli likes imparting his musical tastes onto Dier as well. Speaking at the launch of the EA SPORTS FIFA 16 Ultimate Team – Barclays Premier League Team of the Season, he told JOE: “I’ve started trying to get Eric more into grime. He’s liking it. He’s really into Stormzy at the minute. I don’t think he’d heard of grime until I introduced him to it so he’s a newbie.”
Alli also revealed that Dier might have a special celebration lined up should he register a goal in the final two games of the season.
“Just watch out for his dance moves,” he says. “I think he’s got something planned if he scores…”
Judging by what we’ve seen from his repertoire so far, we could be in for a treat…
