As far as full debuts go for the USA go, Stanford University’s Jordan Morris did good.
Making his first senior start against fierce rivals Mexico, Morris bagged himself a goal in the 2-0 victory in San Antonio. Scoring and putting in an impressive display altogether surely meant that he would cap such a memorable night by taking home the Man of the Match award.
Unfortunately, this wasn’t the case.
Only 20, Morris’s tender years meant that he wasn’t old enough to receive the award as it was sponsored by beer giants Budweiser.
Jordan Morris was considered for Man of the Match but it turned out he isn't eligible because it's sponsored by Budweiser and he's only 20

Keeping such a cool head in front of goal, Morris’s performance suggests that there’ll be plenty of opportunities for him to get himself a Man of the Match award when he does finally come of age.
