Worth the wait?
Three decades on from Colin Clarke scoring against Spain in the 1986 World Cup, Northern Ireland scored themselves a goal at a major European tournament.
The man to end the wait was Gareth McAuley, the 36-year-old nodding home a free-kick to give them the lead against Ukraine.
As you’d expect, the goal prompted quite a celebration from players and fans alike.
