That was quite the costly consolation goal.
Andre Gray’s late tap-in mattered little in the overall scheme of their Premier League clash with table-toppers Manchester City and while Ederson was likely furious to have his clean sheet blotted in the 82nd minute, he probably wasn’t as gutted as Geordie Shore star, Gaz Beadle.
One of the more recognisable faces from the reality TV show had placed an ambitious wager on the outcome of the four league ties which took place on Tuesday night.

Beadle had predicted West Ham to beat West Brom with both teams to score, Crystal Palace to beat Southampton with both teams to score and Spurs to beat Swansea, all of which came good.
But the 29-year-old from Hexham had also anticipated that both teams wouldn’t score when City hosted Watford.
Everything was going swimmingly when the league leaders rushed to a 3-0 lead but, out of nowhere, their defence was breached when Andre Gray tapped into an open net from three yards in the final 10 minutes.
Beadle stood to pocket a staggering £12,902.07 if City’s defence had kept the visitors out but it wasn’t to be and Gaz will have to return to the drawing board.
