This could be the beginning of the end for Andros Townsend’s Tottenham Hotspur career.
The winger may have even more reason to consider his Spurs future after last night’s incident at White Hart Lane.
Townsend has been on the fringes of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans and has only really featured for the North London side during their Europa League exploits.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Tottenham over the last few transfer window’s but the England international has always expressed his desire to fight for his place in the side.
But an incident involving Spurs fitness coach Nathan Gardiner on Monday night may prove to really be the beginning of the end for the former QPR loanee.
It is understood that during the post match warm down, after Spurs’ 3-1 victory over Aston Villa, Townsend, who was an unused substitute became involved in an altercation with the Tottenham coach.
