Murray is an ambassador for Unicef UK
Andy Murray has pledged to donate his prize-money earnings for the rest of the year to help children affected by Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
The 34-year-old is working with Unicef to provide medical supplies and development kits to people in Ukraine.Â
Since Russian president Vladimir Putin ordered a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, more than two million people have fled the country.
“Over 7.5m children are at risk with the escalating conflict in Ukraine, so I’m working with @UNICEF_uk to help provide urgent medical supplies and early childhood development kits,” said the former world number one.

On Tuesday (March 8), tennis’ governing bodies announced a donation of $700,000 (£530,000) to help humanitarian efforts in Ukraine and support the Ukraine Tennis Federation.
