Another fighter wants “b*tch” Conor McGregor to move up a weight class

Darragh Murphy

Conor McGregor has made his post-UFC 194 plans clear and they involve three little numbers … 1-5-5.

The Notorious has revealed that he intends to move straight up to lightweight if he unifies the UFC featherweight title against Jose Aldo on Saturday night.

McGregor has fought at 155lbs before and simultaneously held the lightweight and featherweight titles during his stint with previous promotion Cage Warriors.

One man who would welcome the Irishman to lightweight is TUF 13 winner Tony Ferguson, who fights Edson Barboza on Friday night.

“Tell that little b*tch to come up to my weight class,” Ferguson told Jonathan Shrager of MixedMartialArts.com.

“I’ll finish him first. I already see so many holes in your [McGregor’s] game. I’m not scared of you. I don’t give a shit.

“Any person not in my weight class, you want to come into mine. That’s fine.

“I won The Ultimate Fighter at 170lbs and I knocked out every single one of them, the first person to knock everyone out.

“I didn’t talk my way to get where I was at. Homeboy almost got finished by Chad Mendes. Hey, if you want to come in… I’ll welcome you.”

It seems that The Notorious has no shortage of challengers in any weight class.
