Anthony Stokes wasn’t one bit happy about not getting his game at Celtic.
The forward has struggled to break into the Hoops’ first team this season, making just 10 appearances, two of which he started.
Celtic travelled to Inverness on Sunday, with Stokes once again left out of the starting eleven.
Stokes vented his frustration at Ronny Deila’s decision to snub him for the away game with a tweet that was dripping with sarcasm.
His first tweet saw the “well, at least you’re getting paid well” brigade come out in force which only angered the striker more. Stokes explained that money doesn’t mean a whole lot to him when he’s not getting regular first team football.
Later on, Stokes tweeted an apology for his Twitter rant.

Stokes has been perpetually linked with a move away from Celtic, with a number of English clubs reported to be interested in signing him.
