It looks like Arsenal may have just completed one of the first big deals of the summer transfer window.
Pictures of Borussia Monchengladbach and Switzerland midfielder Granit Xhaka modelling the club’s kit surfaced on social media this morning, which many believe is confirmation of the 23-year-old’s much-anticipated move to North London.

The deal has been edging closer to completion for a number of days, but the clubs reportedly clashed over a fee for the midfielder. Although there’s been no official confirmation from the club yet it’s looking pretty nailed-on that the player has been given his move, for a fee thought to be around the £30m mark.
Gunners fan seem pretty ecstatic that Arsene Wenger looks to have got the defensive midfielder he wanted before the transfer window properly kicks off.
Appreciating how good that new kit looks on Granit Xhaka😍 #WelcomeXhaka #XhakaisaGooner

Think Xhaka will be an excellent signing, partnered with Elneny will be huge step forward. Coq to cover the inevitable red cards.
