Lionel Messi’s return from injury hasn’t come quick enough for him to return to Barcelona’s starting line-up against Real Madrid.
The Argentine has been absent since suffering an injury in his club’s La Liga meeting with Las Palmas, but it had been thought that he could return for El Clasico.
Barcelona will have to make do with Neymar and Luis Suarez, with Messi on the bench – not a bad Plan B to have.
