Rivaldo will have enjoyed Barcelona’s crushing Clasico victory over Real Madrid.
The Brazilian played in many meetings between the rivals during his time at Camp Nou, and he has now claimed that a former opponent of his is set to take the reins at Barça’s fiercest rivals.
Zinedine Zidane joined Real Madrid as a player in 2001, not long after Rivaldo inspired Barcelona to back-to-back La Liga titles, and the Frenchman may now be about to get his first managerial job with the club.

“Real Madrid already has a new coach in Zidane,” Rivaldo writes on his Instagram page.
“I believe it is time to give an opportunity to him, as did Barça with Guardiola and Luis Enrique.”
Madrid are yet to make any official announcement regarding the fate of Benitez, but we will be watching eagerly.
