Real Madrid are expected to follow suit
Barcelona’s playing squad have agreed to a temporary 70 per cent pay cut as the coronavirus continues to hit even the biggest of businesses.
The players will of course not exactly be struggling on their temporary wage, and have pledged to donate a further 2% to ensure that the low paid staff are paid their full wage during their time off work.
But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows at the Camp Nou; there are ongoing tensions between players and board members after negative comments were made off the record about the players and their behaviour,
