Barcelona are wasting no time looking for ways to bolster their squad now that they are allowed to register new players once more.
The reigning Spanish champions added a ridiculous 77 players to their books upon the lifting of their two transfer window ban, and now it’s being reported that they will turn to the Premier League for a couple of marquee signings.
Luis Enrique’s side have been linked with Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey in the past, and the Sunday Express claim they will bid £50m for the Welshman in the summer.
Another big-money target is Everton’s John Stones, with the Catalan club not put off by Everton playing hardball with Chelsea for the player last year.
The England centre-back is unlikely to cost less than £35m, but it seems Barcelona are prepared to spend big.
Gerard Pique is already known to be a fan of Stones, having named the 21-year-old in his World XI, so could the pair become team-mates?
