Many communities in the north of England have been affected by the recent flooding, and those in Carlisle have been hit harder than most.
Many residents have been forced out of their homes, as have the local football team, who have played 100 miles away at Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road ground.
The club and fans made the long trip down to Barnet for their League 2 meeting on Saturday, and the hosts offered half-price tickets to those making the journey down.
But even better than that, they held a bucket collection before kickoff to help out even more.
#ICYMI | #BarnetFC supporters are having a bucket collection for the Cumbria 2015 Flood Appeal today. Please give generously!

Shame they couldn’t serve up some entertaining football. The game ended goalless.
