NBA player Robin Lopez hates mascots.
We don’t know why, but the New York Knicks player has a vendetta against them.
During his team’s two-point win over the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night, Lopez was confronted by the home team’s mascot, who made the mistake of writing a list of his favourite people named Lopez and not including poor Robin on it.
He did not take it well…
After the game, Lopez had this to say for himself: https://twitter.com/outsidethenba/status/577289652303855616 But this isn’t the first time he’s come head-to-head with an opposition mascot. In fact, he has a long track record of terrorising them. We’re not quite sure where it started, but in the past he has played harmless pranks like stealing a mascot’s hat…
But these kinds of actions have made him a target for other teams’ mascots, as they now seek Lopez out to let him know how they feel.
But nothing is more horrifying than the time he blinded the San Antonio Spurs’ mascot with one simple push.

Unfortunately, Lopez’s Knicks are not one of the teams coming to London this year. If they were, we’re sure that there is one mascot who would stand up to his brutality, and finally teach Lopez a lesson…
