It’s only been a matter of hours and already people are complaining.
Perhaps it’s the hyperbolic nature of rolling news, or the proliferation of social media…or maybe rival fans are just plain jealous. Whatever the reason, it seems many are already bored of the Pep Guardiola hype machine.
The Catalan is still a good few months away from actually taking charge of Man City, and already some have had enough of the wall-to-wall praise and preemptive platitudes that the Bayern man attracts.
Of course there’s the distinct possibility that it’s all born on sour grapes and not a little envy, but Pep fatigue is already a thing, and it’s only going to get worse…
