Joshua has worked with his current trainer since his 2012 Olympics days
Anthony Joshua looks to have found a new trainer in the build-up to his rematch against Oleksandr Usyk next year after he was spotted working alongside Anthony ‘Chill’ Wilson in Dubai.
Fight promoter Eddie Hearn recently suggested that Joshua should look to pursue a new trainer and move away from familiar habits at his current base in Sheffield into an environment which can “rough him up.”
He said: “It’s not just about who’s training him, it’s about where.
“Rob’s [McCracken] in Sheffield and that’s his base. I feel it might be time to move on from that environment because when you’ve been there since you were 18 and you go into GB and Anthony Joshua is everywhere, he’s a God.
“I just feel it’s time to rough him up a little bit, not in log cabins in the middle of nowhere. But up there it’s ‘Oh my God, it’s AJ!’ because they’re proud of him.”
Joshua has worked with Rob McCracken since he first burst onto the scene during the 2012 Olympics but since his defeat to the Ukrainian at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in September, the heavyweight has been spotted in the US with several different trainers.
But recent footage shows the Olympic Gold medalist working with Wilson in Duabi as he continues preparations for his rematch with Usyk.

Whilst an official rematch date hasn’t been set, it is expected that Joshua will face Usyk some time in April after he activated a rematch clause in their contract which in turn, denied Tyson Fury the chance to fight the Ukrainian.
