Jake Paul is at it again
YouTuber – now turned boxer – Jake Paul didn’t take long to pipe up after Tyson Fury’s victory over Deontay Wilder, claiming that the heavyweight has “finally earned the chance to fight me.”
Paul’s comments came after the ‘Gypsy King’ delivered an 11th round knockout blow to Wilder to retain his WBC heavyweight title.
Fury’s victory means he is now looking more likely to fight the winner of the rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk, who will fight early next year after Usyk‘s victory at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium last month, as opposed to Paul.
The YouTuber meanwhile was also victorious in his last fight, winning on a split decision against former UFC star Tyron Woodley and has now teased the idea of fighting Fury.
Speaking on Twitter, he said: “I think Tyson Fury might have finally earned the chance to fight me.”

Paul has won all four of his fights as a professional boxer in his career and, in fairness, it does look like he will be fighting a Fury in his next fight, just not Tyson.
It’s likely that he will instead be fighting Tommy Fury. The two have been back and forth at each other on social platforms but the former Love Island star stated that “things were looking good” in terms of setting up an agreement.
It comes after a bizarre agreement was set in place which states that [Tommy] Fury would have to change his name should Paul win but if the YouTube sensation lost, he would give him “an extra $500,000”
It’s not the only person who has advised a name change, with Tyson already threatening Tommy with a name change should he suffer defeat at the hands of the American. We spoke to the younger Fury fighter ahead of the prospective bout.
"He's a s**thouse. I'm gonna hurt him."

The WBC heavyweight winner doesn’t seem too phased about any potential fights saying that he is going to enjoy his well-fought victory for now, saying: Before I start thinking about fighting other men I will bask in this victory.
“This was one of my greatest wins. I got off the floor to do it. I am the big dog in the division.”
