Fury is not angry, just disappointed
Recognition in your chosen profession is arguably one of the biggest rewards, especially if you put in a tremendous amount of work to reach the top of the ladder.
Tyson Fury has arguably been fighting at the top for years, not that the Queen has noticed. But now, fed up with his lack of recognition, the two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has jabbed at F1 driver Lewis Hamilton over his lack of recognition.

Following his rematch victory over Deontay Wilder, Fury received his second ‘Fighter of the Year’ award from Ring magazine in the US. However, despite holding numerous titles, Fury can’t help but become frustrated with his home nation’s honours system.
Despite his numerous accolades, Fury has never appeared on the Queen’s Honours List for any of his achievements, while colleagues like Anthony Joshua, Lennox Lewis, and Naseem Hamed all received various titles from the Queen.
Fury spoke to Mail online about his frustrations, where he said “unlike Lewis Hamilton I live and pay taxes which went up to £9million last year.”

“What people don’t realise is that I pay tax here [in the UK], but I don’t earn all my money here.
“I race in 19 different countries, so I earn my money in 20 different places and I pay tax in several different places, and I pay a lot here as well.
“I am contributing to the country and, not only that, I help keep a team of more than 1,000 people employed.”
When asked whether he was angry over the situation, Fury said:
“No. Just disappointed.
“The way you are when someone close to you lets you down.”
