Paul Daley has a habit of letting his emotions get the better of him.
The fittingly nicknamed ‘Semtex’ is perhaps best/worst remembered for his notorious reaction to his unanimous decision defeat to Josh Koscheck back at UFC 113.
In 2010, Daley struck Koscheck after a frustrating fight for the Brit in an act which saw him immediately released from the UFC.
The heavy-handed Nottingham fighter finds himself plying his trade in Bellator nowadays and he will look to get back into contention for the promotion’s welterweight title with a victory over Lorenz Larkin on the main card of Bellator 183.

Larkin made his promotional debut in New York in the summer, when he was given an immediate title shot after deciding against re-signing with the UFC, but he came unstuck against reigning champion Douglas Lima.
It’s safe to say that there is no love lost between Daley and Larkin ahead of their clash on Saturday night and the bad blood threatened to boil over into a full-on scrap at the weigh-ins as the pair came face to face.

Both men had to be pulled apart but, luckily for fight fans, it won’t be long before they get to trade in the cage in California.
“I don’t really see him as an enemy, like any guy that I’ve ever stepped in the cage with,” Daley said during a recent interview with MMA Fighting. “I’m just ready to fight September 23, I just hope he stands.
“I know he’s a stand-up guy from what I can see and I know the fans are desperate for me to fight a guy that is just going to stand there. We don’t mind if we’re bashed around a little bit, but just stay on your feet and let the fans get what they look forward to when ‘Semtex’ is fighting, which is a knockout.
“I believe I am the most prolific and the best knockout artist in all of mixed martial arts in any weight class.”
