That’s just nasty.
Hoffenheim striker Sandro Wagner sustained the kind of injury on Friday night that would put you off your takeaway.
Wagner horrifically dislocated his index finger during his side’s 3-1 victory over Hertha Berlin at the Olympiastadion.
While we would have immediately vomited at the sight of our pointer facing the wrong way entirely, the 29-year-old simply wandered over to the dugout and had it popped back into place.
Wagner continued and saw out the full game and even set up Hoffenheim’s third, seventy minutes after having his finger bent in a sickening direction.
