Former Real Madrid captain Iker Casillas has very obviously snubbed his old teammate Cristiano Ronaldo in placing other star names ahead of him.
There is an unwritten rule for anyone connected with Los Blancos – both past and present – specifically that thou shalt not upset His Ronaldoness.
But it’s a rule that Casillas is choosing to ignore now that he is far removed from the internal politics at the Bernabeu.
Asked who his most feared attacker was, the Porto stopper committed the cardinal sin of answering Lionel Messi, long-time nemesis of Ronaldo (who he could have chosen from international games)…

But there was an opportunity to even the scores when asked to name the most talented player he’d played alongside. No Messi, no problem…except the veteran keeper plumped for Zinedine Zidane over the Portuguese elephant in the room…

We await the sound of an impending tantrum in central Spain…
