Celtic may have pulled off a piece of extraordinary transfer business as reports link them to a season-long loan for Real Madrid wonderkid Martin Odegaard.
Italian media outlet Tutto Mercato claim the Norwegian youngster will be reunited with Hoops boss Ronny Deila, who handed the 16-year-old his debut at Stromsgodset.
If speculation is true, then Celtic have beaten a host of top European competition to Odegaard’s signature, with Valencia also thought to be in the race.
Prior to signing for Real Madrid in January, Odegaard was courted by Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Liverpool after being touted as one of the stars of the future.
