Following some pretty serious allegations in the press, Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has spoken about his future at the club.
The Spanish midfielder was accused by The Secret Footballer of being the ringleader of a revolt against manager Jose Mourinho.
But Fabregas, one of Mourinho’s biggest signings during his second spell in charge of the club, has asserted that he has an “excellent relationship” with the man in charge.
Fabregas has been singled out by some Chelsea fans for his poor performances this season as the Blues have won just three of their first 11 Premier League games.
He was particularly bad in the 3-1 defeat to Everton, and has just one league assist (and no goals) to his name despite featuring in every top-flight outing this season.
So perhaps he’s not deliberately sabotaging the club – maybe he’s just been really, really bad.
