What’s happening to Italian side Parma is pretty sad.

The once-great Serie A side have gone bankrupt and are now being forced to auction off eight club trophies.

But former Chelsea star Mario Melchiot has found one glimmer of humour from a sorry footballing tale.

The ex-Stamford Bridge man has used Arsene Wenger’s Premier League trophy drought to aim a dig at London rivals Arsenal.

Melchiot suggested that Wenger may be in the market for buying a trophy or two – it’s nothing to do with us, but being a former Chelsea man, some might say he’s a bit of an expert on this…
